Japanese Red Pine - Glitzer's Weeping
A dwarf weeping Japanese Red Pine! Light green needles are attached to weeping, arching branches. Can either be left alone to create a mounding groundcover or staked to desired size. Puts on about 6″ of growth per year.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found by Skeeter Rodd of Rarafolia Nursery, Pennsylvania in 1994. Discovered growing in their neighbours back yard, as such the plant is named after their neighbour's last name.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Plant in a protected area out of the prevailing winds, as being exposed in winter winds can lead to desiccation.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
