Swiss Stone Pine - Blue Mound
A dwarf Swiss Stone Pine with soft silvery-blue foliage. The original plant was mound shaped but all grafted offspring form a very tight conical shape. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling of Dutch origin by Floravista Gardens in British Columbia, Canada before 1987.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
