NATIVAR – A mat-forming dwarf Jack Pine with short green needles. Features irregular twisted stems and is a prolific producer of cones. Grows 30″ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a chance seedling by Alfred Fordham of Massachusetts before 1979.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers acidic soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
