Colorado Spruce - Maigold
A semi-dwarf pyramidal Colorado Spruce. Displays aspects similar to the species except for new spring foliage emerges primrose yellow before maturing to the typical light-green colour. Grows 5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Selected seedling originated by Karl Pristaff of Germany around 1960.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
Group: Intermediate
