White Spruce - Dwarf Alberta Spruce
NATIVAR – One of the most common dwarf White Spruces which everyone loves! Forms a symmetrical pyramid with dense, light-green needles . On hot dry summers, it is recommended to spray the foliage with water once in a while. Grows 3′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Discovered by Alfred Rehder and J.G. Jack near Lake Laggan, Alberta growing in the wild in 1904.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Protect from prevailing winter winds.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
