Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Pat McCracken’
Dawn Redwood - Pat McCracken
A large growing variegated Dawn Redwood. Forms an upright pyramidal habit of variegated foliage. The initial spring flush is green while the second flush is white given a nice two-tone effect. Foliage turns orange-bronze in fall before shedding. Grows 20′ high by 10′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by Pat McCracken of North Carolina in 2005.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils. Able to withstand swampy soil conditions.
