Japanese Larch - Twisted Sister
A dwarf Japanese Larch which forms a compact, flatten-globe of twisted branches. Think of it as a very compact form of ‘Diana’. Green needles turn golden-yellow in fall before shedding. Grows 3′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a witch's broom of Larix kaempferi 'Diana' by Paul Warnick, Director of the University of Idaho Arboretum. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
