A dwarf Creeping Juniper. Forms a groundcover of dense silvery-blue foliage which takes on a purple tinge in winter. Grows 3″ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine by Jacob van Heiningen of Connecticut in 1914.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Likes slightly acidic.
Maintenance: If desired, trim to shape by shearing/pruning during spring till July.
