Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Spanish Spider’

Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Spanish Spider’

Witch Hazel - Hybrid - Spanish Spider

An intriguing medium sized growing Witch Hazel. Yellow-orange flowers with purple-red calyx feature four petals, each twisting which mimics that of a spider. The flowers are born mid-to-late winter on bare stems but lack fragrance. Young spring leaves emerge yellow-green with hints of reddish-brown and mature to a light-green colour by summer. In fall, the foliage changes to yellow. Grows 12′ high by 9′ wide.
