Witch Hazel - Hybrid - Ripe Corn

A medium sized Witch Hazel with stunning deep yellow flowers and dark red calyx. Blooms mid to late winter on stems still clinging with older foliage. Foliage is green in spring and summer, turning buttery-yellow during fall. Grows 10′ high and wide.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by the De Belder family of Belgium in 1995.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.

Soil: Tolerant of various soils but prefers a well draining one, slightly acidic.

Maintenance: Selective trimming in spring right after the flowers have finished. Do not trim in fall, as flower buds have already been set.
