European Beech - Cochleata
A dwarf European Beech. Elongated dark green leaves concave in appearance and form mini-lobes at leaf tips. Leaves turn yellow in fall. Very slow growing, forming a cone shape in time. Grows 15′ high by 10′ wide.

Parentage unknown. In the trade since before 1842.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
