A bizarre dwarf European Beech. Bronzy red/purple mutated looking leaves are held in clusters at the end of branches. The foliage does fade to more greenish tones by summer. Grows 25′ high by 20′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found on the ground of Brathay Parish Church in Ambleside, England in 1996.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
