A dwarf golden Sawara Cypress of yellowish tinged thread-like foliage. Forms a mound when young, eventually gaining a leader to gain a globose conical habit. Grows 2.5′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a sport on Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Filifera Aurea' before 1966.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
