Japanese Full Moon Maple - Golden
The most well known of the Full Moon Maples. Spectacular yellow new spring foliage which slowy transitions to a yellow-green summer colour. The more sun the brighter the yellow. In fall, various shades of orange and red are seen with the occasional hint of purple. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
Was originally listed as Acer japonicum ‘Aureum’.
