Acer pubipalmatum
Chinese Maple
Almost identical to the Japanese Maple species (Acer palmatum) except with very fine hairs on the leaves and reportedly a bit more cold hardy. Green spring and summer leaves turn red to yellow in the fall. Grows 10′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
