Japanese Maple - Waveleaf
A vivid reticulated, large growing Japanese Maple. Wavy, new leaves emerge stunning darkish purple with even darker veins. As the leaves mature, they fade to a more bronzy-green colour before turning orange-red in the fall. Grows 10′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
