Acer palmatum ‘Twilight’
Japanese Maple - Twilight
A newer large growing Japanese Maple with variegated foliage. New wavy spring foliage emerges white and changes to pink and green variegation. By summer the leaves have changed to a solid green. Fall foliage turns yellow. Grows 10′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
Appears to be different from Acer palmatum ‘Yugure’ which also translates to ‘Twilight’.
