Japanese Maple - Summer Gold
A yellow Japanese Maple! Medium sized new spring leaves emerge orange-yellow and transition to a light yellow before becoming a golden-yellow for the summer. During late summer, the leaves take on a bit of a greenish hue before turning bright orange-red during the fall. Grows 6-8′ high by 4-6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced from Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery, Italy.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
