Acer palmatum ‘Phantom Flame’
Japanese Maple - Phantom Flame
A newer and outstanding ‘ghost-like’ Japanese Maple! New reticulated variegated foliage emerges white with dark green veins and red fingernail like tips. The red tips seem to fade towards the summer and the backdrop darkens to a more chartreuse green but the darker veins remain. Fall colour is orange-red. Grows 7′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.
