Japanese Maple - Large Red Tide
Medium to large new spring leaves emerge a bright orange-red with bronze and become a reddish-green colour by summer. Bright scarlet fall colour. Upright growing 9′ high by 7′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Listed in Yokohama Nursery, Japan 1898 catalogue.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
