
Acer palmatum ‘Ori zuru’
Japanese Maple - Paper Crane
A bushy upright Japanese Maple with small leaves. Foliage emerges green with irregular pinkish splashes and margins which the intensity can differ leaf to leaf. The pink tone fades to more of a creamy-white colour by summer and in the fall the foliage turns a nice red. Grows 9′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
