An older variety of Japanese Maple which leafs (medium sized) out red with a slight purple tone in spring. Summer transforms the foliage to a rich green with red samaras but its outstanding feature is its brilliant golden-yellow to crimson fall colour. Grows 7′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.
