Acer palmatum ‘Marlo’
Japanese Maple - Marlo
A show-stopping dwarf variegated Japanese Maple. Small new spring leaves emerge a soft pink maturing to a dark green with neon-pink highlighted edges. By summer the pink fades to a creamy colour creating a tri-colour effect. During the fall, the foliage transforms yet again to shades of pinks and reds. Grows 5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
