Japanese Maple - Hupp's Dwarf
A very compact, slow growing, dwarf Japanese Maple with tiny congested foliage. New pinkish-red growth changes to green by summer and has a bright orange-red fall colour. Grows 2-3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a seedling by Barbara Hupp in Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
