Japanese Maple - Stardust
A dwarf variegated Japanese Maple with small irregular star shaped leaves. Green spring and summer leaves are edges with creamy-yellow margins. Each leaf lobe can vary in variegation and shape. Fall colours range from orange to red. Grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Chance seedling of Acer palmatum 'Kamagata', found at Maplewood Nursery, Oregon and named in 1987.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
