Japanese Maple - Hessei
A sturdy Japanese Maple featuring large deeply divided leaves with saw-tooth margins. Leaves appear longer then wide and are purple-red in both spring and summer obtaining some bronze hues by the heat of summer. Fall foliage is a brilliant crimson. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
