A very unusual variegated Japanese Maple. Unlike its parent ‘Geisha’ which variegation is speckled, ‘Geisha Gone Wild’ has variegated margins instead. Distorted leaves have a greenish base colour with pink and cream margins that can vary leaf-to-leaf. In the fall, foliage turns purple-orange. Grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period. Similar to the sister seedling ‘Shirazz’ which is a bit faster grower and has more of a base colour of purple-grey mixed into the green.
