Japanese Maple - Gaki no sugi
A slow growing Japanese Maple with large ghost-like leaves that emerge creamy-white with dark green veins. Leaves mature to a more greenish colour by summer while new foliage flushes continue with its pink spring tones. In the fall, foliage changes to bright red. Grows 5′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
