Japanese Maple - Emerald Sunset
A stunning Japanese Maple. Leaves emerge a yellowish-green in spring with reddish tips. As the foliage matures, the leaves darken to a medium green with purplish-red tips which last long throughout the summer. More so than other similar varieties. Fall brings various shades of reds. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Nishiki Nursery of Australia.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
