Japanese Maple - Elmwood

A smaller Japanese Maple featuring light green spring leaves emerging with a pink hue which transitions to medium green by summer. Also, sporting darker green reticulation veins giving it a variegated look. In the fall, the colour transitions to a yellowish-orange. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
