Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Brocade of the Toyama District
A variegated weeping Japanese Maple, one of the few! Spring and summer leaves have a base of purple-red to green-red with markings of pink and white. The intensity of variegation differs per leaf, some leaves are heavily variegated while others may only have one colour marking or even none at all. The fall colour is orange and red. Stake to desired size.

Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
