An outstanding weeping Japanese Maple with variegated foliage from spring to fall. In the spring purple leaves emerge streaked with white, red and pink splashes. The red colour deepens by summer with the purple base colour taking on more green hues. In the fall, the variegated colours intestify given an outstanding show! Stake to desired size.

Origin
Discovered as a sport of Acer palmatum 'Toyama nishiki' and introduced by Tsukasa Nursery in Japan in 1994.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
