Japanese Maple - Cutleaf - Garnet
A more vigorous growing weeping Japanese Maple with a more horizontal branching structure and larger leaves than most other cutleaf varieties. Rich orange-red leaf colour in spring deepening slightly by summer before turning a bright red fall colour. Stake to desired size.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Gebr. Guldemond, the Netherlands in 1959.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
