Japanese Maple - Cotton Candy
A semi-dwarf variegated Japanese Maple. Green leaves are splashed with pinks and whites giving it a cotton candy look. The variegations last long into summer without fading. Fall brings stunning orange and red colours. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Harold Johnson of Tallassee, Alabama.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
