Japanese Maple - Coonara Pygmy
A nice dwarf Japanese Maple with small bright green leaves in the spring and summer. New leaves are often edged with pink. During the fall, a show of colours are to be had starting with pastel yellow, orange and pink and turning to a stunning deep pink. Grows 3-4′ high by 4-5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a witch's broom of a Acer palmatum seedling in Victoria, Australia near the Coonara Springs Restaurant by Arnold Teese.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
