Acer palmatum ‘Butterfly’

Acer palmatum ‘Butterfly’

Japanese Maple - Butterfly

One of the most known variegated Japanese Maples. While not the most intense variegation, it certainly still holds up. Leaves emerge green with pink margins that slowly fade into white margins by summer. In fall the colour transitions to a pinkish-red. An upright vase shape, growing 10′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.
