Ghostly variegated leaves emerge yellowish-green in spring with dark green veins. This reticulated variegation colouration lasts into summer before changing to bright red in the fall. Grows 6-8′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling from Acer palmatum 'Amber Ghost', introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
