A red-tinged form of ‘Shigitatsu sawa’. Medium leaves are slightly curled inwards. New leaves are dark green veins which are highlighted by backdrops of white, pink and red. During summer, the leaves start to darken to a more greenish tone overall before turning to an orange-yellow fall colour. Grows 8-9′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.
