
Acer palmatum ‘Alpenweiss’
Japanese Maple - White Alpine
Similar to Higasayama but more colourful with thinner and more refined green veins on small leaves with creamy white boarders. Fall colour is scarlet-orange. Grows vase-shaped to 10′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found from a seedling of Acer palmatum Higasayama by Baltzer Nursery in Oregon
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
