NATIVAR – A dwarf Alpine Fir of short dark blue-green needles. Starts off as a dense compact globe when young but will eventually become conical in time. Grows 2.5′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling selected in the USA around 1979.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
