Korean Fir - Horstmann's Silberlocke
A semi-dwarf Korean Fir, one of the more common and saught after. Pyramidal with green needles that curve back to expose the silvery white undersides give the plant a stunning two-tone appearance. Cones emerge purple at a young age. Grows 6′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Introduced by Güsnther Horstmann of Germany in 1978.

Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
