Japanese Full Moon Maple - Cute
A really stunning cut-leaf style of a Full Moon Maple! Deeply divided leaves to the base emerge orangey-plum red in the spring holding this colouration well throughout the summer, till the end when some shades of green and bronze can be seen. Fall colour is a nice deep orange and red. Grows 1′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling of Acer shirasawanum 'Palmatifolium' discovered around 1996 by Jim Baggett of Oregon. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery of Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
