Japanese Maple - Yellow Threads
A golden Japanese Maple version of ‘Koto no ito’! Stringy, thread-like leaves emerge vibrant yellow-green in the spring. By summer, the leaves turn a more pale-yellow but not solid green. During fall, the foliage turns bright yellow and orange. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling from Acer palmatum 'Koto no ito'. Found and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon in 2005.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
