This Japanese Maple leafs out bright red in spring, matures purple-red by summer and transforms once again to bright red in fall. Grows 9′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Chance seedling discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery of Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
