Japanese Maple - Pixie
A very full and dense Japanese Maple based off of ‘Bloodgood’. New spring foliage emerges bright red and transitions to a strandard purple-red by summer. The foliage changes to a fiery-red fall colour. Grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Reputed to be from a witch's broom found on 'Bloodgood'.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
