Japanese Maple - Little Fingers

A dwarf, upright Japanese Maple which has narrow ‘finger like’ lobed leaves. The spring foliage emerges bronze-red maturing green by summer and transitioning to an yellow-orange fall colour. A airy plant which grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.

Special Notes

Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
