Japanese Maple - Japanese Princess
An exquisite compact, dwarf Japanese Maple with short internodes. Small new pinkish-red spring growth fades to green by summer (sometimes with yellow-orange hues) before turning a fiery-red fall colour. Grows 2′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Seedling from Acer palmatum 'Mikawa yatsubusa' found by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
