Acer palmatum ‘Beni hoshi’
Japanese Maple - Ruby Stars
This wonderful dwarf Japanese Maples features small star-shaped leaves. The foliage emerges ruby-red in spring, changing to purple-red and eventually green by summer. At the same time, a second flush of foliage during summer brings out the red highlights again. During fall, colours of yellow and orange are to be expected. Grows 5′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.
