Acer griseum

Acer griseum

Paperbark Maple

A really unique Maple tree with trifoliate compound leaves (meaning three smaller ‘leaflets’ make up the full leaf). New spring foliage emerges a light green before turning a dark green by summer and an outstanding blazing red colour in the fall. Exfoliating cinnamon-brown bark is especially showy on more mature stems. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.
