White Fir - Gable's Weeping
A semi-dwarf White Fir. Has more of a windswept look than a true weeping form. Greyish-blue needles on mustard coloured stems. Eventually will form a leader to create a conical shape. Staking is strongly encouraged when young. Grows 5′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found by J.B. Gable of Pennsylvania. Introduced by Watnong Nursery, New Jersey in 1970.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
